i get asked these quite alot, so i thought i would save you the trouble of asking and post them up here!
how did you get your website?
i wasn't sure how to get one of the domain things, but i went to www.webs.com where you can be 'hosted' for free. some people don't like webs, but i think its easy to use.
what programs do you use to edit?
i mostly use adobe photoshop cs3 (creative suite three), but from time to time i use adobe photoshop elements 7. i really like photoshop elements, its really easy to use. some people think its too simple though. whatever floats your boat.
where do you get your resources from?
most of my site models, patterns and brushes are from photobucket, but i also get quite alot of my stuff from other websites, they have good resources. i try to be orignal with the stuff i use, so most of the time if you ask me, i won't give out the websites that i use. www.swimchick.net is really good though.
where can i find good celebrity pictures for my edits?
www.sweetandtalented.com is really good, they have loads of different celebrities, i use there most of the time. also, if you type the name of the celeb you want to edit into a search engine and put "fansite" at the end of their name, those sites usually have some really good galleries. please note that it is illegal in most countries to use celebrity pictures on your website, so be careful.
i downloaded an editing program from the internet, and my anti-virus program says i have a "trogan-horse" virus. what should i do?
well, this is going to sound like abit of a history lesson, but did you ever get told that story in school where the greeks all climbed into a huge wooden horse? well, according to myth the greeks sent a large gift horse to the city of Troy, so as you can image, this huge horse goes through the gates into the city. little did the civilians of troy know that inside this giant horse was loads of greek soldiers, ready to jump out and fight the people of troy. get it? well, i guess your wondering what on earth this has to do with the virus you got? see, the places where you download the programs from offer this brilliant shiny new program, but secretly inside it the have placed lots and lots of viruses that could be harmful to your computer, just like the greeks packed their men into the trojan horse so they could get into troy. you see? well, i would suggest terminating the virus via. your anti-virus program, but if this doesnt seem to work i would seek further advice, maybe from the internet.
how do i code my website like you have?
firstly, coding isnt any walk in the park, its harder than most people say it is. chances are they are saying that to make themselves look pro. it takes alot of practice. well, it did for me anyway. first, i would suggest finding a basic coding layout and practicing with it on your website. there are alot of things to remeber, so a good idea is to copy and paste the whole code onto all your different pages, that way they will look the same.

see at the top of the circle theres a button that looks like an i? well click it and it will take you to the website that i got my music player from. all you have to do is sign up, create your playlist, choose your music player then copy and paste the code! easy peezy right?
